Death Stranding 2 Trailer Reveals Chaos: Floods, Earthquakes, Intense Combat, and New Biomes

Death Stranding 2 trailer teases epic action with floods, earthquakes, combat upgrades, and exotic locations. Launching June 2025 on PS5.

The fresh gameplay trailer of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was something else. Floods are coming out of nowhere, and the earthquakes? Yeah, they suddenly break the ground and shake everything like mad. This stuff doesn’t just look cool, they mess with how you play, too. You’re walking and then bam! water everywhere, or the ground breaks under feet. It’s not easy carrying things in such conditions. Definitely you've got to think more now.

Death Stranding 2 Trailer: Environment Feel More Different This Time

So now the game is not only in the U.S., but you’ll be exploring Mexico and Australia too. There are deserts with kangaroos hopping around and snowy places that feel super cold just watching. The trailer shows different types of places, and it seems like each spot has its kind of challenge. It’s nice, but it may be a bit confusing at first. Still, more places mean more to do.

The action looks way more than before. Sam was doing gun stuff, jumping from a vehicle, and taking down enemies like it’s an action movie. There are stealth parts too but some of it felt louder than sneaky. People who liked Metal Gear are probably gonna enjoy this bit. Some fights feel smoother, but others are kinda chaotic. But it’s better than just walking all the time.

Cargo Is Still a Thing (but Stressful Now)

Like before, you still gotta carry cargo around—but now with disasters going on, it’s even more annoying. You drop stuff because of waves or an earthquake rumble. However, they added something like a grappling cable for vehicles to pick up dropped stuff, which is helpful when you're rushing. Still feels like the game wants you to suffer a bit with deliveries.

So now you get suits and skeleton things that help balance and walk better. There’s also APAS, something system where you upgrade yourself for fighting, sneaking, or delivering stuff. It’s kinda RPG-ish now. Didn’t make much sense at first glance, but it’s cool that you can tweak how you play more.

Soundtrack Kicks In When It Wants Photos

Music reacts to what you do now. When a fight starts, it gets intense, and calm when walking. Songs from Woodkid and Forssell add drama vibes. There’s also Photo Mode, where you pose and take cool shots. Good for people who like sharing game pics online.

Death Stranding 2 seems more crazy and wild, but also more full of stuff. Whether it’s climbing, dodging floods, or fighting enemies, it never sits still. It’s not perfect, but it surely looks like something fans of the first will wanna play. It’s dropping on June 26, 2025, on PS5. Better get your balance ready.
