Delta Force Weekly Update: New Event, Weapon Bundle, Operator Balancing & More!

  • India Today Gaming
  • March 17, 2025 (UPDATED: March 18, 2025 02:06 IST)

Delta Force update adds a new event, weapon skins, and operator balance changes, impacting Operations Mode.

A new Delta Force update is scheduled to be released on March 14 with new content and gameplay tweaks. Although the update does not bring earth-shattering developments, it features a limited-time event, a new weapon skin pack, and balance adjustments that might affect Operations Mode.

Hill of Iron Event and New Weapon Skins

The Hill of Iron event runs from March 14 to March 20, now including all maps for a broader gameplay experience. While this change adds variety, it does not alter the event’s core mechanics. Players can earn Armament Vouchers, Premium EXP Tokens, Merit Cards, a new Avatar, and a Name Card as rewards.

A new weapon skin bundle, Decal Mania, will be available from March 14 to April 10 for 1,500 Delta Coins. It features skins for the M41, MP5, and SCAR-H, designed with anime-style decals. Though the bundle offers customization options, it remains a cosmetic addition without gameplay impact.

Operator Balance Adjustments in Operations Mode

The most notable update comes in the form of operator balance changes, affecting Luna, Shephard, and Toxic. Luna’s Recon Arrow now scans more frequently, reducing detection failures in Operations Mode. However, this adjustment does not address community requests to tone down her Recon Arrow’s effectiveness in Warfare Mode.

Grenades also see changes in this update. Luna and Shephard’s Frag Grenades now deal a maximum of 110 damage, up from 100, while minimum damage is reduced from 10 to 1. The damage multiplier against Level 5 and 6 Ballistic Vests has also been slightly increased.

Toxic's skills are both nerfed and buffed. Her use time of Med decreases from 40% to 30%, slowing healing. Her flight speed of Swarm Unit, however, increases from 8m/s to 12m/s, making it more aggressive during battle situations.

Although the update does not dramatically change the game's meta, grenade buffs and higher Recon Arrow scans might affect match strategies. Explosives carry more damage now, and Luna's scan ability will likely have an impact on positioning in Operations Mode. The effectiveness of these changes will be seen in actual matches, but community reception will determine whether they are impactful.
