Delta Force’s “Zero Dam” Explained: Routes, Loot, and Extraction Tactics

Master Zero Dam in Delta Force with this comprehensive guide covering map layout, resource priorities, and extraction point strategies.

Delta Force’s Zero Dam battlefield demands more than just shooting skills - mastery of terrain, resource areas, and tactical extraction strategies are key to victory. The latest GTI tactical guide provides an in-depth look at Zero Dam's layout and optimal plans for surviving and thriving in this complex environment.

Map Layout and Key Zones

  • Three Main Sections: East, West, and the restricted North (boss's territory).

  • Repel Points: 14 total, scattered on the eastern and western sides.

  • Extraction Points: Fixed points on opposite sides of the map (East for West-side spawns, and vice versa), with unique unlock conditions:

    • Barracks North Tunnel: Sacrifice your backpack.

    • Central Mountain South: Requires technique alloy.

    • Industrial Elevator (North): Activate by pulling one of two levers.

Resource Priorities by Landing Zone

  1. West Side: Cement Plant and Barracks.

    • Key loot areas: Dormitory entrance, hacker computer in Barracks.

    • High-reward tasks at the Cement Plant may yield technique alloy.

  2. East Side: Visitor Center, Major Substation.

    • Substation divided into Major Substation and Power Backup Center—loot quickly and scout for threats.

    • Engineers can bypass fences to secure loot first.

  3. North Area: Administrative Center.

    • Risk of encountering the boss here; prioritize loot on the first and second floors.

    • Assign lookout roles to prevent ambushes.

Tactical Routes and Safer Strategies

  • Combat-Focused Paths:

    • Cement Plant Spawn: Move to administrative areas after initial looting for higher-value targets.

    • Barracks Spawn: Target the administrative area's west side but expect resistance.

  • Stealth and Safety:

    • Cement Plant: Follow the map’s eastern edge to loot safer, low-traffic areas like the Riverbank Minor Substation.

    • Barracks: Stick to the upper map edge, ending at the East extraction point.

    • Set up ambushes near high-risk zones like the dam for a defensive advantage.

Flexibility and awareness are the core elements of success in Zero Dam. Whether opting for aggressive looting or a cautious approach, operators must adapt to the situation and make strategic decisions. As GTI emphasizes: survival is the ultimate goal.
