PUBG Mobile fixes key bugs and updates gameplay for improved player experience in May 2025.
The PUBG Mobile development team has rolled out a series of fixes and adjustments following player feedback, aiming to enhance overall gameplay and resolve various technical glitches.
Steampunk Frontier Enhancements
On May 16, updates to the Titan gameplay mechanics were introduced. Now, when a player is eliminated after transforming into a Titan, they will lose the transformation ability and drop either a Titan Serum or Attack Titan Serum, which other players can then collect. Additionally, on May 15, modifications to the railroad track models were made to address problems that prevented certain vehicles from passing through smoothly.
Gameplay Fixes
Several bugs affecting gameplay were resolved. A notable fix on May 16 addressed an issue that blocked the use of Titan Serum and Attack Titan Serum in specific zones on the outskirts of Aetherholm’s train platform. Moreover, on May 15, a white screen glitch occasionally encountered in Classic Mode was corrected, improving stability for affected players.
World of Wonder Adjustments
Improvements also targeted camera and interaction mechanics. On May 16, a camera glitch occurring when character models stood on grouped custom objects was fixed. The day before, an issue preventing players from saving parameter changes after setting a moving interactized object to follow was resolved.
Miscellaneous Corrections
Other technical fixes include repairing visual effects on certain Bugatti sports cars, specifically restoring brake stand and drift animations on rear tires, resolved on May 15. Earlier, on May 14, errors related to the Steamclad Racer - UAZ categorization and misdisplayed Ultimate Royale titles were corrected. Additionally, a flickering problem involving Backpacks and Companions in Personal Space was also addressed.
Known Issues Still Under Review
Despite these updates, a known problem remains where players must equip a fully upgraded X-Suit before entering Spawn Island or Cheer Park to access an exclusive glider and use the summoning platform. The team continues to investigate this matter.
