Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Game Trailer Released Featuring New Characters

The latest trailer for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 has been unveiled, giving fans a closer look at three key characters—Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma. Known as the loyal companions of Tengen Uzui, the trio is featured in a 30-second clip filled with swift and dramatic battle sequences.

Multi-Platform Launch Set for August

The game is slated for release on August 5 across multiple platforms. These include PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam. North American and European players will be able to join the action on the same day.

In addition to the game, the Demon Slayer franchise continues to grow through its anime adaptations. Streaming service Crunchyroll currently offers access to the television series, including the Mugen Train Arc and the ongoing Hashira Training Arc, available in both subbed and dubbed versions.

Looking ahead, the Infinity Castle movie trilogy is set to kick off with its first installment hitting theaters in Japan on July 18. International premieres are expected to follow shortly after.

Set in Japan's Taisho era, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted boy whose life changes when demons attack his family. His sister Nezuko survives but is turned into a demon. Driven by a desire to save her and avenge his loved ones, Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer and sets off on a dangerous journey filled with loss, hope, and unyielding determination.
