Shroud launches Shroud-X, his esports org, debuting with a Marvel Rivals roster.
Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek has finally delivered his esports organization, Shroud-X, is officially here after months of teasing. And it's making its debut in Marvel Rivals, sending Twitter into a frenzy with over 285,000 views and 4,000 likes within hours of the announcement. The FPS legend is stepping into esports ownership, promising big things ahead. Let’s dive in.
The Birth of Shroud-X
It all started during Shroud’s Fragathon livestream in February 2025, where he casually promised to launch an esports org if he raised $1 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Naturally, his community took that challenge head-on, smashed the goal and now, Shroud-X is a reality.
Meet the Shroud-X Roster
Shroud’s first official squad is a rebranded version of Intergalactic, a team that has already made waves in the Marvel Rivals competitive scene. Here’s the lineup:
- Window (Vanguard)
- Dongmin (Vanguard)
- Impuniti (Vanguard)
- Doomed (Duelist)
- VisionGMG (Duelist)
- Fidel (Strategist)
- Nuk (Strategist)
The team will be led by Branchies as the manager, with Gator stepping in as head coach. If you’re unfamiliar with Intergalactic, they’ve already proven their potential placing 2nd at Rivals Fight Night #1 and winning BoomTV Proving Grounds #2 on January 18, 2025. While they’re not dominating just yet, they’ve shown they can hold their own.
A Shroud vs. 100 Thieves Showdown?
Interestingly, 100 Thieves also announced their Marvel Rivals entry around the same time. However, in true 100T fashion, they’re keeping their roster under wraps for now building anticipation for a potential rivalry showdown.

What’s Next for Shroud-X?
With their roster locked in, Shroud-X is gearing up for their first major test the Marvel Rivals Invitational (NA Region) starting March 14, 2025, as part of the MRC series. The big question remains can Shroud’s magic extend from legendary headshots to successful esports ownership? Or will it be another Toast x Valorant situation?
One thing’s for sure Marvel Rivals esports just got a whole lot more exciting.
