Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra enters network testing from June 12–16, 2025 across consoles, PC, and mobile.
The newly-released team-based MOBA, Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra, will hold a free network test with playtime from June 12 to June 16, 2025, allowing players on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices to hop in and join the battle. With heroes like Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo, and intuitive crew-based combat, Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra will provide players with a tactical 4v4 experience featuring high-speed combat and teamwork that both refreshes the franchise and engages the gamers.
From Project: Multi to Gekishin Squadra
The game, which was originally revealed as Dragon Ball Project: Multi in August 2024, underwent a regional beta test and was rebranded as Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra. This game introduces a new mode into the Dragon Ball universe of action: 4v4 tactical MOBA combat, where players form squads with their favourite characters and then fight in high-intensity arenas.
Play as Your Favourite Z-Fighters
The roster features some of the best-known characters from Dragon Ball: Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, and Piccolo. Each fighter is classified under one of the three roles:
-
Damage: High offence (e.g., Goku)
-
Tank: Sturdy defenders (e.g., Piccolo)
-
Technical: Strategic support (e.g., Krillin)
As battles rage, players level up to build more power, unlocking strong skills and ultimate moves together with team synergies that simulate the feel of Dragon Ball's epic battles.
Customisation and Visual Flair
The offer of character customisation in Gekishin Squadra extends beyond that of gameplay. Custom skins, entrance animations, and finishing moves can be unlocked and equipped by you to stand out in the arena. The game prides itself on sharp, lively visuals and animations to fully imbue that unmistakably over-the-top flair the Dragon Ball title is famous for.

Cross-platform and full of teamwork and action, Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra is shaping up to be a very exciting new take on the franchise.
