Dune Awakening Patch 1.1.0.15 Brings PvP Tweaks, Exploit Fixes, and Stability Upgrades

Dune: Awakening’s Patch 1.1.0.15 adds PvP balance changes, removes major exploits, and improves stability for smoother gameplay across Arrakis.

So, in the most recent patch, which is called 1.1.0.15, Dune: Awakening is giving players a different PvP experience. They did lots of tweaks to how players fight each other. Like, damage got balanced differently now, and zones such as Deep Desert it is now tougher to dominate alone. The way attacks land has also improved — many players were saying before that hits weren’t registering properly, which was annoying in combat moments.

Also, cool downs for a few powers have been increased, maybe so that players don’t just keep spamming the same ability again and again. Devs are trying to make things more tactical now. People were complaining before about those one-shot kills and how unfair it felt. With this update, maybe teamwork will matter more than solo players just rushing in.

Fixes For Exploits That Were Ruining It

One big part of this patch is removing several exploits that players were using for advantage. Like, there was a serious issue about resource duplication — a bug that let players make copies of rare items. That’s not happening anymore, thankfully.

Teleporting out of fights was another thing, especially in PvE and PvP zones. Players were escaping situations unfairly by glitching, and now that’s fixed too. Some base buildings were also acting strangely. Like, crafting stations get unlimited fuel if placed in certain area. Funcom removed that as well, so now players have to play more properly again.

Improving the Game’s Stability

Besides the gameplay changes, Patch 1.1.0.15 is also giving better performance overall. Players with AMD and Nvidia graphics cards are supposed to crash less often now, mostly during the large fights or when storms are happening. The game is loading faster, and when players move between places like Shield Wall or Sietch zones, there’s less lag.

Funcom has also done some fixes on the server part. Tick rates are better, they said. Players on weaker systems may notice less lagging and disconnection, due to the new network improvements they put in.

Players Helped Guide This Patch

This patch is another step before the big content updates come in the future, like siege battles and House warfare. Devs said that community feedback was very helpful, and they’re still listening in the forums and Discord groups.

Even though some stuff still might need polishing, this update is showing how Dune: Awakening is slowly getting to be a more stable and fair survival MMO on Arrakis’s unforgiving sand lands.
