eFootball 2025 v4.4.0 Update: AI League Battles, Smarter Training, and More

  • April 17, 2025 (UPDATED: April 17, 2025 18:33 IST)

KONAMI’s latest eFootball 2025 v4.4.0 update brings fresh features like AI League Mode, improved player training, smarter squad management, and a massive 850 million downloads celebration.

KONAMI is back with a game-changing update for eFootball 2025. The new v4.4.0 patch isn’t just about minor tweaks, it’s a full-fledged upgrade designed to deepen your experience on and off the pitch. Whether you're a competitive player, a team-building strategist, or someone who enjoys immersive single-player content, this update has something for you. From the debut of AI League Mode to intelligent skill training and smarter squad management, v4.4.0 is about putting more control in your hands.

Smarter Squad & Targeted Skill Training System

KONAMI has also made big strides in player management. You can now stash up to 500 backup players without clogging your main squad. While backups can’t be trained or used in matches unless promoted, this feature is ideal for stockpiling future stars or seasonal favourites. Tired of removing players one by one? The new mass release option fixes that, letting you clear out unwanted players in bulk with just a few taps.

Skill development gets a major overhaul with Targeted Skill Training. Instead of random skill unlocks, you now choose from categories like passing, shooting, or dribbling, tailoring each player’s evolution to fit your tactics. These training items can be earned in-game, offering more control and less grind.

eFootball 2025 AI League Mode Debuts

The standout addition in v4.4.0 is the AI League Mode, now live in the eFootball League. In this new feature, players can go head-to-head with AI-controlled Dream Teams made up of real users’ squads. It’s perfect for when you want to take a break from competitive PvP but still face off against capable lineups. The AI difficulty scales with your progression, bringing back that nostalgic single-player campaign feel from the classic PES days.

850 Million Downloads Campaign

To celebrate 850 million downloads, a limited-time campaign runs from April 17 to May 8, 2025. You’ll have a chance to earn up to 30 random rewards, exclusive kits, and an 850M commemorative badge featuring the iconic MSN trio, Messi, Suárez, and Neymar.

Online matches now feature a live antenna icon showing connection quality. After each match, a detailed stability graph gives insights into performance fluctuations.

With v4.4.0, eFootball 2025 leaps forward in terms of playability and personalisation. From Strategic AI combat to more in-depth control over player development, KONAMI continues to listen to its fans and mark a global milestone. Grinding for rewards or honing your squad, there's never been a finer time to dive back in.
