Musk has acknowledged using account sharing to boost his characters to higher levels and garner top spots on global leaderboards.

Elon Musk sure knows how to keep himself in the spotlight, but not always for the right reasons. Recently, the World's richest person admitted to cheating in the highly popular games Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2. Musk has acknowledged using account sharing to boost his characters to higher levels and garner top spots on global leaderboards.

Elon Musk's revelation came during a casual conversation with ARPG YouTuber NikoWrex, where Musk candidly admitted to employing multiple people to play on his accounts. The confession was part of an 18-minute YouTube video that exposed Musk's strategy to maintain top positions in Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2.

Musk mentioned that it is nearly impossible to compete with top Asian players without resorting to account sharing. He added that, despite these methods, he believes he remains a skilled player in both games

Unsurprisingly, this admission has drawn a mix of outrage and disappointment from the gaming community. Despite boosting his character levels and obtaining high-end gear in Path of Exile 2 and Diablo 4, Musk's actions violated both games' terms of service

In both games, sharing account details or employing third-party account boosters is considered cheating and is strictly prohibited. Elon Musk's admission has raised questions about the actions developers, Blizzard and Grinding Gear Games, might take against him for violating these terms

As the story continues to unfold, all eyes are on Blizzard and Grinding Gear Games to see whether they will ban Elon Musk for his admitted cheating practices. One thing is certain: even billionaires are not above the rules in the gaming world. This incident serves as a reminder that regardless of one’s status, fair play must be upheld in all aspects of competitive gaming.
