Epic Games Announces Global V-Bucks Price Hike and Content Pack Price Increases

Epic Games has announced that the price of V-Bucks, the in-game currency used in Fortnite, will be increasing in six countries starting October 14. The price hike, which is approximately 20%, will affect players in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Nigeria, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

The company cited economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations as the reason for the change. This marks the second V-Bucks price increase in less than a year, with a similar hike affecting PC and console players in October 2023.
