Epic Games Store offers two free titles this week—Dead Island 2 and Happy Game—available until May 22, 2025.

As part of its continued dedication to offering value to the gaming community, the Epic Games Store has announced its new lineup of free titles available for the period May 15 to May 22, 2025. Featured this week are the action title "Dead Island 2" and the visually unique "Happy Game," both of which are up for free download until May 22 at 11 AM ET.

"Dead Island 2" is a first-person action role-playing game that places the player into a zombie-ridden Los Angeles. Reputed for its interactive combat mechanism and dark humor, the game normally sells for $49.99, which makes its current free status a significant event for fans of the genre.

Players may further enrich their experience by purchasing the Expansion Pass, which features extra content like the "Haus" and "SoLA" expansions, offered at a reduced price during the Mega Sale. Adding to the high-octane action of "Dead Island 2" is "Happy Game," a psychedelic horror game designed by Amanita Design.

This name welcomes gamers into a dreamlike nightmare universe of spooky puzzles and unnerving imagery. With its distinct visual style and moody narratives, "Happy Game" is an experience of a different sort for those looking for something different. Aside from these titles, Epic Games also revealed that the next batch of free games will be announced on May 22, following its weekly tradition of giveaways. This program not only enables gamers to grow their libraries for free but also familiarizes them with a variety of genres and developers. Gamers are invited to take advantage of these limited-offers by checking the

Epic Games Store within the given deadline. Through it, they will be able to experience a range of gaming experiences while waiting for the next announcements in Epic's free game initiative.
