The 2025 VALORANT Masters tournament is set to be one of the most significant competitive events of the year. Beginning on June 7, twelve of the world’s top VALORANT teams will convene in Toronto to compete for a $350,000 prize pool and the prestigious Masters title. These teams secured their spots by finishing in the top three of the first stage of regional leagues across four major international circuits: VCT Pacific, EMEA, Americas, and China. Over the course of two weeks, fans can expect a high level of competition, which will end with our ultimate winner in the grand final on June 22.

Now that all teams have locked in their spots, the stage is set for an intense journey to the grand final on June 22. Let’s take a look at the full lineup.

  • G2 Esports – VCT Americas Stage 1 champion
  • Fnatic – VCT EMEA Stage 1 champion

Swiss Stage Contenders

Eight more teams will begin their journey in the Swiss Stage, battling it out for a shot at the playoffs.

  • Paper Rex – Pacific third place
  • Bilibili Gaming – China runner-up
  • Wolves Esports – China third place

  • MIBR – Americas third place
  • Team Heretics – EMEA runner-up

Tournament Format Explained

The event begins with the Swiss Stage, running from June 7 to June 11. In this phase, the eight lower-seeded teams compete in a win-loss format. Matchups are created depending on results from previous rounds, with early matches likely pairing second-place teams against third-place teams from other regions. Every game will be played as a best-of-three. At the end of this stage, four teams will qualify for playoffs, and the rest will be eliminated.

The Playoffs take place from June 13 to June 22. This is a double-elimination bracket featuring the four Swiss Stage winners and the four regional champions. Most of the playoff matches will be best-of-three, but the intensity will rise in the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final, which will be played in a best-of-five format.
