Everything to Know About GTA 6: 5 Expected New Features Here

GTA 6. One of the most successful franchises in gaming has kept almost all details of the game under wraps, and that’s not a surprise. With over $1 billion invested, it’s no secret that GTA is playing it strategically. One slip-up, one leak, and years of planning could go down the drain. Yet, we do have some confirmed details that players can expect, and all of them sound insane, because every detail sets the bar higher for GTA 6’s launch on 26 May, 2026. The question is, will they be able to live up to it? Let’s get into it

Vice City’s Return

Most hardcore GTA players are no strangers to this city, first appearing in the original 1997 "Grand Theft Auto" and later on in the iconic 2002 “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City”. GTA 6 is now bringing a modern re-twist into the game with Vice City, the main city of GTA 6. 

That means, going past the original layout set previously and expanding the Miami-inspired city into suburbs, beaches, trailers, parks, and even rural areas within Leonida. The advanced AI to pull it off isn’t only restricted to locations either but the characters as well.

More Interactive NPC 

GTA 6 means business, and now, so does the police. If they see some funny business, they’re going to investigate scenes, sirens will reveal police locations, while all leaks aren’t confirmed, the police will be much harder to deal with in GTA 6, and civilian NPCs will respond much more fluidly to players and interact with surroundings in more detail as seen in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Mini-Games 

Rockstar will provide players with side activities to give players tired of the main story a diversion. While Rockstar hasn’t confirmed the full list of activities we can expect billiards, kayaking, fishing, gym workouts, and dirt bike racing are some of them. In theme with the outdoor activities, Rockstar isn’t stopping at just human NPCs and their surroundings.

New Wild-Life

With players getting expanded areas and new activities, we’ll see new wildlife animals like alligators, lizards, and other animals while exploring or fishing. It’s to be seen what Rockstar is looking to add for now. Besides animals, Rockstar is also letting us play as a woman, and I don't mean cross-dressing. 

Dual Protagonists 

Rockstar will give players two main protagonists, and Lucia Caminos will be the first female playable character in the entire series. Players will be able to switch between the two protagonists as they engage in the criminal storylines waiting for them in GTA 6.
