Final Double XP Weekend Hits Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 3

With Season 4 just around the corner, Treyarch is giving players one last reason to grind in Black Ops 6 and Warzone before the curtain closes on Season 3. Yep, another Double XP weekend is coming in hot — and it might just be your final shot to max out that Battle Pass.

Mark Your Calendars: Double XP Weekend Starts May 23

Treyarch quietly dropped the details in the in-game events tab, confirming that Double XP and Double Battle Pass XP will go live starting Friday, May 23. That means more levels, faster tier unlocks, and a prime opportunity to squeeze out those final Season 3 rewards.

This weekend’s event was first spotted by Twitter user Detonated, who noticed the update in the event tab. Just don’t expect any weapon XP boosts — this one's strictly for player XP and Battle Pass progression.

So if you're still halfway through the Season 3 pass or just looking to stack some extra XP before the reset, this is your chance to go full sweat mode.

 

 

What's the Deal with Season 4?

Season 4 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone is dropping May 29, and even though Treyarch hasn’t laid out the full roadmap yet, we’ve already got some tasty teasers to chew on.

From the trailer that aired last week, fans spotted two iconic weapons likely making a comeback:

• LC10 SMG – A speedy, solid option from the Cold War era.

• FFAR Assault Rifle – Fast fire rate, punchy feel — a fan-favorite that could shift the meta again.

And that’s not all. A returning party mode is about to drop too...

One in the Chamber Is Back, Baby!

If you’ve been waiting for One in the Chamber to hit Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, the time has come. After three full seasons of sitting on the sidelines, the much-loved party mode is finally stepping back into the spotlight.

For those new to it, One in the Chamber gives every player a single bullet. If you land a hit, you get another bullet. Miss, and you better hope your melee game is strong. It’s fast-paced, chaotic, and a total blast with friends.

It joins the likes of Prop Hunt and Gun Game, which have already been welcomed back in earlier seasons.

Zombies Teaser Stirs Up Hype

On the undead side of things, Treyarch has also dropped a teaser for Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 4 content. While it’s all mysterious for now, fans are speculating it could involve new narrative twists or even another map reveal.

Considering how wild the Zombies lore has gotten over the years, literally anything could happen — expect cults, time travel, or some cryptic Richtofen shenanigans.
