Are you a fan of Star Wars? Or have you ever watched the movies and thought, “woah, the lore is crazy”. Well buckle up as you might be able to experience that world yourself. Fortnite’s Chapter 5, season 3 is shaping up to be a mystery and a recent tweet by @Fortnite News has brought some interesting insight to light. So, let’s get ready because there are a lot of theories to uncover.

It seems pretty spot on, after all, everything points towards Star Wars. Fans, however, had a few differing opinions in mind. So, let's discuss some-

Alternate Theories

Another theory given by a twitter comment @onyxzegamer entails

• Dark presence approaches - could be Palpatine but we’ve been teased of various threats before since chapter 4
• Zero shard is from far far away- Reality Zero
• Season starts on may 2nd- probably just a coincidence 
• Star Wars chests- might be epic reusing assets

Community Opinions

While the Star Wars theme is no doubt exciting, many players pointed out that Star Wars has been a recurring theme in Fortnite, causing players to not feel as excited in comparison to other themes. Many players have hilariously started manifesting Shrek as well-  which, if true, would be an epic April fools moment. Others hopped on the Star Wars train and started demanding Lightsaber Pickaxes as well.
