GTA 6 Launching May 26 in India; Expected Price, PC Specs, Map, and Characters Explained

GTA 6 launches in India on May 26, 2025, with a new map, characters, and high system demands.
GTA 6 is releasing on May 26, 2026. Finally, after all this waiting, the postponements, and all this chatter and leaking happening everywhere, it is happening. Trailers and early details kept revealing things slowly, from the gameplay itself to the map and characters we could spot in the game.
GTA 6 System Specifications and Price in India
They have not made official prices public so far, but rumors give some hints. The Standard version might be priced at ₹5,999. After that, the Deluxe version might reach up to ₹7,299, and the Collector's Edition might easily cross ₹10,000.
This game is going to be huge. Maybe the biggest Rockstar ever made. But that also implies that it won't be playable unless you have a top machine. To play it reasonably, folks may need:
- Processor: Intel i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 3700X
- Graphics: GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT
- Storage: Around 150GB of available space
- RAM: At least 8GB
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or 11
The trailer already showed that physics is improved now. The characters also respond in a better way, and now even small activities like purchasing or talking make you do it yourself. So it's more profound; nothing is auto-based as in older ones.
New Map, New Faces
Vice City is back, but it's different. This time around, they have more real estate around it, and some of the Liberty City areas seem to be included as well. The map itself will be big and full of places for story missions and side missions.
The two main characters in the game are:
- Jason, stuck in local crime dealings.
- Lucia, newly released from prison and looking to start fresh with Jason.
There are other names, too, on the official website, such as Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, and Raul Batista. There are speculations that Raul might be the third lead, but there is no confirmation from Rockstar as yet.
So, it seems, GTA 6 is shaping up to be quite huge. With better movement, more challenging missions, and characters with real objectives, the game is already making waves. Rockstar should hopefully reveal more in the coming months, but for now, everyone waits with bated breath in May 2025.
