Epic Games recently dropped Chapter 6 of Fortnite, bringing exciting updates and fresh content to its beloved battle royale game. Along with the free V-Bucks, Epic Games expressed an apology message saying, "We acted on your account in error. Sorry about that and look forward to adding 2,000 V-Bucks to your account as restitution for the mistake.

To players, this is huge compensation. 2,000 V-Bucks that a player can use to spend in the Fortnite Item Shop on premium product items, even including several of the most expensive Fortnite skins, or the seasonal Battle Pass. So that leaves no stone unturned so that players don't miss out on much more fun in Fortnite.

This isn’t the first instance of Epic Games refunding V-Bucks in Chapter 6. Earlier in the week, Fortnite Crew subscribers who had purchased the Music Pass before the season's launch received a refund of 1,400 V-Bucks. The decision to compensate players showcases Epic Games' commitment to maintaining a positive relationship with its community by promptly addressing issues and rewarding loyal fans.

For those wondering if they are eligible, the free 2,000 V-Bucks were granted only to players who were falsely banned at the start of the new chapter, not others. If you were affected, the V-Bucks should already be in your account, along with the apology message.
