If the leak is accurate, two SMGs will be unvaulted, an assault rifle will be removed, and a shotgun swap is coming—something that has already sparked mixed reactions from the community. According to a leak from X user ShiinaBR, Fortnite will unvault the Twin Mag AR, Scoped Burst SMG, and Infiltrator Pump Shotgun in the next season. Meanwhile, the Holo Twister AR and Sentinel Pump Shotgun are expected to be vaulted for at least this season. ShiinaBR, a well-known Fortnite leaker, credits X user TunaDrift as the source, though it's unclear how the information was obtained.

The possible removal of the Sentinel Pump Shotgun has sparked controversy among players. Many have expressed frustration, believing it could significantly impact the shotgun meta. Some even speculated that the update might be an April Fool’s prank. The Sentinel Pump is a fan favorite thanks to its strong base stats, dealing 92 damage per shot in its common variant and up to 114 in its legendary form. Its fast fire rate also makes it a top choice for close-quarters combat, so many players are disappointed by the thought of losing it.

While players debate the weapon changes, Fortnite has introduced new content inspired by The Walking Dead.
