Fortnite OG Chapter 4 End Date Revealed – Last Chance to Play Before Season 5 Begins

The journey with Fortnite OG Chapter 4 is nearly ending. Months after which players revisited all the nostalgic Chapter 1 feels, Epic Games is now stating that OG Chapter 4 Season 4 will come to an end shortly, and by that, OG Season 5 is in fast-forward.

When’s Fortnite Chapter 4 Ending?

So, the exact time Epic’s given is Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 10:30 PM PDT. That would be 1:30 AM EDT or like 6:30 AM BST on August 8 if you're outside the U.S. If you haven’t finished your OG Battle Pass or still got challenges left lying around, you don’t wanna wait till the last minute. There's not gonna be any extension from what they said.

Also, the in-game screen already says when the season’s ending, so it’s not like you’ll be caught off guard unless you haven’t logged in recently.

What Chapter 4 Has Brought Back

This chapter was full of throwback content, mostly aiming at older players who remember the original map. It all started June 7, 2025, and from then the game brought back areas like Dusty Divot, Moisty Mire, and also Risky Reels. Even stuff like older weapons and the movement from those times were back again.

Vehicles like shopping carts and the X-4 Stormwing planes also returned, which kind of mixed the older gameplay feel with some better balance from today’s Fortnite systems.

OG Season 5 Incoming

Now, Epic hasn’t told everything, but Season 5 is launching August 8, right after 4 ends. Based on what people in the community are saying and some leaks, we might be getting the rocket launch event again, maybe happening on July 26. That would match up with the same event from Chapter 1 back in the day.

As with other OG seasons, there’ll likely be older POIs and loot returning, but with some slight changes maybe. And yes, a new OG Battle Pass will be there too.
