FragPunk Microsoft Desktop Update Postponed Due to Platform Issues

In a recent announcement, the team behind FragPunk has confirmed a delay in rolling out an important update for the game’s Microsoft Desktop version, citing unanticipated technical challenges. As a result, players accessing the game via this specific platform will find themselves unable to log in starting May 22, 2025, at 5 PM PT (May 23, 2025, 8:00 UTC+8).

The development team emphasized that while access through the Microsoft Desktop client will be temporarily suspended, all player data, including progress and account information, will remain secure and intact throughout the downtime. Once the platform update is completed and service resumes, all saved information will be restored seamlessly.

In the interim, affected users are being encouraged to switch to alternative platforms in order to continue gameplay. FragPunk supports account linking across platforms, allowing players to carry over their progress. The developers noted that they are actively coordinating with Microsoft to resolve the issue and re-enable access to the desktop version as soon as possible.
