Free Fire Latest Patch Breakdown: Game-Changing Features and Balancing Updates

Free Fire’s latest update brings the My Zone event, Oscar character, skill reworks, weapon boosts, and guild system upgrades for a refined gameplay experience.
The new Free Fire update introduces a significant overhaul to both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes with new artifacts, weapons, and gameplay mechanics. The update also adds a new character, skill overhauls, and guild system improvements, looking to polish gameplay while increasing engagement.
New “My Zone” Event and Battle Royale Changes
The My Zone event introduces event workshops scattered across the map, allowing players to spend FF Coins to craft powerful artifacts. Among the highlights:

Additionally, air drops in Clash Squad have been revamped into Hyper Crate Drops, offering a larger capture zone with improved cover. Players can also vote to unlock new artifacts such as the Vitality Hub, which emits HP-restoring pulses, and the Sensor Beacon, rewarding buffs for eliminating enemies in key zones.
New Character and Skill Adjustments
The update introduces Oscar, a vigilante by night and student by day, whose ability allows him to dash forward and explode glue walls upon collision, dealing AoE damage.
Meanwhile, Aness receives a skill rework, now summoning a moving flame wall that burns enemies it touches. Additional skill balancing has also been applied to optimize gameplay.
Weapon Enhancements and HUD Improvements
New weapon boosts have been added, found in Hyper Crates and Hyper Drops:

Guilds now have a Guild Perk system, unlocking an exclusive glue wall skin that can be shared with all members. Players can now display guild level and rankings on their profiles, while Clash Squad mode is now integrated into Guild Wars. Additional changes include:
