Free Fire Max x Squid Game Collab: New Modes, Skins, Rewards & More

Garena came up again with one more crossover, this time with Netflix’s globally popular series Squid Game. After doing team-ups with Devil May Cry, One Punch Man, Demon Slayer, and others, now Free Fire Max is bringing something new, based on the intense survival drama of Squid Game.

How You Can Join the Event & Game Modes Coming

Starting right after the 8th Anniversary celebration live from 14 July 2025, this Free Fire x Squid Game event will go live on Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. There will be new modes, skins, offline activities, and some exclusive giveaways.

To be at the event:

• Make sure your Free Fire is updated to the latest version

• Click the Event tab from the main screen

• Register inside the Collab Mission page

• Call friends to get extra benefits from rewards

Some new modes added are taken from Squid Game episodes:

• Red Light, Green Light – Players move only when the green signal shows. If you move during red, you will get eliminated.

• Tug of War – Teams pull ropes with timing and coordination mattering the most.

• Glass Bridge – You must guess the correct panel to step on. One wrong step and you fall. It needs sharp memory and good luck.

Other mini-games are also supposed to launch after 14 July.

Real-Life Ddakji Match, Skins, Cosmetics, and More

There will be a real-world Ddakji paper flipping contest held in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata on 19 and 20 July 2025. Players flip paper tiles, and whoever flips more, wins 4.56 million diamonds in total prize.

Cosmetics are one big part of this collaboration. Some are:

• Player 456 Clothes

• Front Man’s Suit

• Doll Avatar from Red Light Green Light

• Guard Outfits with circle, triangle, and square masks

• VIP Mask with Deer Horns

Other items also coming like themed parachutes, flying boards, loot crates, backpacks, special emotes (such as “Game Start!”), and voice packs (for example, “Red Light, Green Light”). You can do missions every day to collect tokens, which you can then trade for the items mentioned.

Story Chapter, Leaderboard & Free Item Gifts

A short Squid Game-style story will be there, unlocking parts with voiceovers when players finish daily missions. It adds more immersion and a story element to the gameplay. Players who score top of the leaderboard will be rewarded with rare items and special titles.

• VIP Deer Horn Mask

• Outfit of Player 456

• Squid Game-style Gloo Wall and Loot Box

• Backpack shaped like a cash Bank

• Collab Voice Lines
