Garena Launches Free Fire USA Championship 2025: Schedule, Format & Prize Details

The Free Fire USA Championship 2025 begins June 21, featuring 24 qualifier teams and a $30,000 prize pool, streamed online via Free Fire NA channels.
Free Fire fans in America, get ready! The Free Fire USA Championship 2025 is starting this June and will continue till July. Garena is bringing back this exciting event, and it’s gonna feature 24 amazing teams fighting for a total prize pool of $30,000. This event is part of the game’s regional tournaments and is set to be one of the biggest in the country this year.
How the tournament will go
It all kicks off with the Qualifier Stage happening on June 7 and 8. No teams are invited directly this time, which means all 24 teams will earn their spot through online qualifiers. Then comes the Group Stage, beginning June 21. The qualified teams will be divided into two groups. Each group will compete across four matchdays, playing four matches every day.
After the Group Stage, only the best 18 teams will move forward to the Knockout Stage, happening on July 5 and 6. Eighteen teams will split into three groups and play a round-robin in which each team plays a total of eight matches. The twelve teams making it out of this stage will hopefully participate in the Grand Finals, taking place on July 12. The final stage will be a single-day competition in which all teams play a Champion Rush-style format. There will be a champion by the end of the day.
Prize Pool & Where to watch it
Garena handed out cash prizes worth a total of $30,000. Competitors can claim $10,000 by coming first, $5,000 for second and $3,000 for third. The players ranked fourth to sixth will each receive a prize of $1,800, those taking seventh to ninth will get an award of $1,200 each and players coming tenth to twelfth will receive $1,000. Those athletes who struggle with money in sports are given something valuable: experience, knowledge and recognition.
