The server maintenance for Genshin Impact 5.3 will begin on January 1, 2025, at 6 am (UTC+8) and will last approximately five hours. During this period, the servers will be unavailable, and players cannot log in to the game. Although the maintenance is expected to last five hours, it may conclude earlier than planned.

Here is the maintenance schedule for various regions:

North America (December 31, 2024):

• Pacific Time (PST): 2 pm - 7 pm

• Mountain Time (MST): 3 pm - 8 pm

• Central Time (CST): 4 pm - 9 pm

• Eastern Time (EST): 5 pm - 10 pm

Europe (December 31, 2024 - January 1, 2025):

• Western Europe (WET): 10 pm - 3 am

• Central Europe (CET): 11 pm - 4 am

• Eastern Europe (EET): 12 am - 5 am

Asia (January 1, 2025):

• India (IST): 3:30 am - 8:30 am

• China (CST): 6 am - 11 am

• Japan (JST): 7 am - 12 pm

Pre-Download Rewards

Players can preload essential files for the 5.3 update to minimise wait times. This feature allows Travelers to quickly transition into the new content once the servers go live. The pre-download is available for all regions and can be accessed through the game launcher.

As compensation for the server downtime, HoYoverse will grant 300 Primogems to all players who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or higher before maintenance begins. These rewards will be delivered via in-game mail, so ensure your rank meets the requirement to claim them.
