Genshin Impact 5.8 Spiral Abyss leaks show enemy lineups, HP boosts, and buffs favoring Lunar-Charged & Nightsoul teams. Ineffa and Varesa shine.
There’s been new leaks from the Genshin Impact beta for Version 5.8, and it’s lookin’ like the Spiral Abyss is going through some notable adjustments. Not only enemy lineups got shifted around, but the Ley Line buffs too, making it more favorable to certain teams, particularly ones built around Ineffa, who’s set to be featured this patch.
Leaker HomDGCat mentioned how the Spiral Abyss this time focuses hard on Lunar-Charged and Nightsoul reaction damage. In Floor 12’s first half, Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged characters are getting a 75% damage boost. The second half? That goes to Nightsoul-aligned characters, also with the same 75% bonus. Pretty big deal if you have the right team.
Spiral Abyss Floor 12 Breakdown:
Chamber 1
- First Half: You’ll be facing off against a whole bunch of Eremites, Desert Clearwaters (x4), Sunfronts (x2), Daythunders (x2), and some Ring-Dancers and Stone Enchanters.
- Second Half: The bosses are Fluid Avatar of Lava and the Yumkasaur Mountain King.
Chamber 2
- First Half: All mechanical, Ruin Scouts, Cruisers, Destroyers, and Earthguards.
- Second Half: The Wayob Manifestation (the Burning-Aflame one) and Jadeplume Terrorshroom show up here.
Chamber 3
- First Half: Weirdly, it repeats the Eremite wave.
- Second Half: New bosses include the Embodiment of Tenochtzitoc and a “Secret Source Automaton” thing.
Interestingly, enemy HP is up by a whopping 88.35% compared to v4.8. Still, folks online are saying it might not feel that much harder. Maybe cause Freeze comps are finally not being forced this time. Instead, Overload, Melt, and Electro-Charged teams seem to be doing way better now. So units like Ineffa, Neuvillette, Varesa, and yes, even Fischl or Xingqiu, could carry teams through.
The current cycle will run until September 16, 2025, right when Nod-Krai is expected to launch. Rumors say we’ll be getting a 5-star Electro male and a 5-star Geo female next, but that’s not officially confirmed yet.
Version 5.8 comes out on July 30, 2025, and there’s gonna be more news dropping soon as promotion for Nod-Krai starts rolling out.
