Genshin Impact Version 5.7 "A Space and Time for You" Arrives June 18 with Skirk’s Debut, New Quests, and More

Version 5.7 of Genshin Impact, titled “A Space and Time for You,” will be released on June 18 and comes with lots of new stuff, much-anticipated characters, and updates to the game. 

One of the more exciting developments is the introduction of Skirk, Childe’s mentor, together with a larger story about the Traveler twins. Along with this, players will get to enjoy new events, an everlasting game mode, optimization changes, and character banners that appear for only a limited time.

Version 5.7 adds two new characters who can be controlled in the game.

• Skirk uses Cryo powers and specializes in energy manipulation. She works best when you have Hydro and Cryo characters around and her fighting style is entertaining.
• Dahlia (Sword/Hydro): This support can give her team shields and increase their attack speed, making the team both useful and durable.

One thing to note: the Event Wishes is divided into two phases. The first batch of characters to appear will be Skirk, Dahlia and Shenhe.

Spiral Abyss Phase II features Mavuika and Emilie, the Pyro Archon, and catalyst users, making the game more diverse in elements.

Development of the story and quest

In the story, more is revealed about the Traveler twins’ fate as the Abyss Order makes their presence strongly felt in Natlan. Lore and events in Shadowbringers will join together in this chapter for players’ enjoyment.

Fans can also expect Traveler’s Tales: Gilded Chapter which is a relaxing story about Thoma, Neuvillette, Jinry and many other companions they love. Some games feature both types of Modes which are always available or come and go.

A permanent mode called Stygian Onslaught puts players against three changing bosses and asks them to complete six levels of difficulty. Success in the challenges will allow you to strengthen your Artifacts using better resources.

A new branching path tactical event in Sumeru lets players enjoy the setting and awards them with a free Sethos ticket, allowing them to collect a character for free.
 

Gameplay Optimizations

A number of improvements to ensure a more comfortable experience will also be part of the next update. Directly using Fragile Resin to gain triple rewards will help players reach their goals faster every day. Players with mobiles will enjoy improved tools to manage their resources according to how far they have come in the story.

Players can now see what amazing things are coming through trailers such as the anticipation caused by Version 5.7 and the Nod-Krai Preview Teaser film: "Prelude to Moonlight." Talking about Version 5.7, Genshin Impact is set to deliver a mix of intense battles, storylines and thoughtful gameplay you would expect from the game.
