HoYoverse has revealed its intentions for the impending Version 3.2 update of Honkai Star Rail, which features a maintenance period. The game will be temporarily removed from circulation during this time while new content is rolled out and technical patches are implemented. Although players will not be able to play the game while maintenance is ongoing, HoYoverse will provide in-game rewards as a gesture of thanks for their forbearance.

Scheduled Maintenance for Honkai Star Rail 3.2

The maintenance for the much-awaited Honkai Star Rail version 3.2 update is scheduled to initiate on April 9, 2025, at 6:00 AM (UTC+8). Within the period, the game servers will be temporarily shut down for about five hours to facilitate a smooth and stable update process. If everything goes as planned, global access to the new version will resume at 11:00 AM (UTC+8) the same day.

Downtime Across Major Time Zones

Given the global player base, HoYoverse has released region-specific maintenance windows to help Trailblazers better prepare for the update. Here's a breakdown of the expected server downtime by region:

• Americas (April 8, 2025):
• PDT: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• MDT: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• CDT: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• EDT: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Europe (April 8–9, 2025):
• WEST: 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• CEST: 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM
• EEST: 1:00 AM – 6:00 AM
• Asia (April 9, 2025):
• IST: 3:30 AM – 8:30 AM
• CST: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• JST: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• KST: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Players are advised to make use of the preload function to download the patch files in advance and reduce update delays once the servers come back online.

Compensation for Player Inconvenience

To thank players for their patience during the maintenance, HoYoverse will give out 600 Stellar Jades as compensation. This reward is available to all players who have reached Trailblaze Level 4 or higher before the update.

Eligible players can claim the reward from their in-game mailbox, which can be found by tapping the envelope icon in the pause menu. The rewards are usually sent shortly after the update is finished.
