Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Update Radio: Optimization, New Systems, and More

HoYoverse has announced the highly anticipated Version 3.2 update Radio for Honkai: Star Rail, packed with optimizations and fresh content. From a new exchange shop to streamlined inventory management, the update delivers a smoother, more rewarding gameplay experience. Here’s everything you need to know.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Update Radio: New Character & Light Cone Exchange Shop

The Stellar Convergence shop debuts in Version 3.2, allowing players to acquire premium five-star characters using Golden Companion Spirits. This update introduces Ruan Mei (Ice Harmony) and Luocha (Imaginary Abundance) as featured options. Every player will receive one Golden Companion Spirit, offering a free character selection.

For players who reach maximum Eidolons on a five-star character, excess Eidolons will convert into Silver Companion Spirits. Two Silver Spirits can be exchanged for one Golden Spirit, creating more value for duplicate pulls. Additionally, five-star Light Cones, including Past Self in the Mirror (Ruan Mei’s signature) and Echoes of the Coffin (Luocha’s signature), will be permanently available in the shop. These require Light Cone Memory Shards, which can now be obtained through Nameless Glory rewards.

Character Warp Optimization

• The update expands the Character Event Warp system, allowing players to select up to seven non-featured five-star characters as potential 50/50 alternatives in event banners.
• Newly added options include Seele (Quantum Hunt), Blade (Wind Destruction), and Fu Xuan (Quantum Preservation), providing more control over summons. However, these characters remain exclusive to event banners and are not included in the standard pool.

Enhanced Material Synthesis & Improved Relic Management

A new feature reduces the hassle of material farming. If players lack the required upgrade materials but possess lower-rarity alternatives, they can synthesize them directly from the upgrade menu without navigating to the Synthesize interface, streamlining character and equipment progression.

A Relic Finalization Setting lets players auto-salvage low-star Relics, decluttering inventories instantly. The new Smart Discard system further enhances inventory management by automatically filtering out Relics with undesirable main stats for selected characters. For example, the system can flag Outgoing Healing stats on a DPS set as redundant, preventing unnecessary item hoarding.

Mass Superimposition for 4-Star Light Cones

Addressing a longstanding request, Version 3.2 introduces a mass superimposition feature, allowing players to enhance multiple four-star Light Cones simultaneously. This time-saving addition eliminates tedious manual upgrades.
