Honkai: Star Rail 3.3 Release Time, Maintenance Schedule, and Free Rewards

Honkai: Star Rail’s eagerly awaited version 3.3, “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise,” is set to arrive on May 21, 2025, bringing new story chapters, characters, and events to the game. They say it’ll last about five hours, after which you’ll be able to jump in with all the new stuff.

Maintenance Schedule

They plan to begin maintenance on May 21, 2025 at 06:00 UTC+8. So you can’t log in until they finish .

In other timezones, that kicks off at:

• May 20, 3 PM PDT (UTC-7)

• May 20, 6 PM EDT (UTC-4)

• May 21, 3:30 AM IST (UTC+5:30)

• May 21, 7 AM JST/KST (UTC+9)

 

Then according to Game8, they expect to wrap up about five hours later:

• May 21, 11:00 UTC+8

• May 20, 10 PM CDT (UTC-5)

• May 21, 4 AM CEST (UTC+2)

 

3.3 Release Time

Once maintenance ends, the patch goes live right away. In Asia, you’ll see it at:

• 11:00 AM CST (China Standard Time)

• 12:00 PM JST/KST

For us in India, it’s 08:30 AM IST . North America gets it around 8 PM PDT / 11 PM EDT on May 20, 2025 .

 

 

Preload and Compensation

Hoyoverse usually opens preload just before maintenance starts—so keep an eye on the official X (Twitter) accounts for the exact preload notice .
And they’ll thank you for waiting; anyone at Trailblaze Level 4 or higher when maintenance begins gets 300 Stellar Jades in their mailbox once servers are back .
