Honkai Star Rail 3.5 Leak Teases Hysilens, Cerydra, and Major Character Reruns

As Honkai: Star Rail by HoYoverse is getting closer to its Version 3.5 release, some new leaks have suddenly started spreading and have gotten fans buzzing. A few sources are suggesting that the next update may bring two brand new 5-star characters, Hysilens and Cerydra, along with popular reruns like Kafka, Silver Wolf, and possibly even Anaxa showing up again.

Hysilens might arrive first in Phase 1 of the version. She’s described in leaks as a Physical character on the Nihility Path. People say she could bring bleed effects and help boost DoT (damage over time) setups, which makes her useful in teams with Kafka, Black Swan, or Hyacine. It looks like she’s the kind of support that helps keep such teams running well.

As for Cerydra, she might come later during Phase 2 of the banners. She’s said to be a Wind-type Harmony character. Based on what people are saying, her role might focus on increasing speed and helping the team with faster energy recovery. That makes her look useful in hyper-carry teams, maybe ones that include Phainon.

Rerun Lineup in Honkai Star Rail 3.5 update

Kafka and Silver Wolf might also be coming back in Phase 1. They could have been improved recently to work better with AoE and DoT team styles. Then in Phase 2, Anaxa might return too, which would match with the Wind synergy this patch may be aiming for.
Timing & Confirmation

Some trailers and posts suggest Version 3.5 could be released around August 12 or 13, 2025. That would follow the six-week schedule HoYoverse usually follows. But still, there’s no official confirmation yet. Most players are expecting an announcement during the livestream planned for the end of July or maybe the beginning of August.

The 3.5 version may usher in a pleasant blend of the new and the old, in case the leaks are accurate. The new facilitating characters and re-run favorites could provide some good opportunities to build the teams. As much as you are concentrating on DoT teams or quick moves with carry setup, this update could be something to be anticipated. Wait till what is going to be confirmed officially.
