Honkai: Star Rail leak teases Hysilens and Cerydra for Version 3.5 update.
A recent leak has stirred excitement among Honkai: Star Rail fans, revealing details about two potential new characters set to debut in the anticipated Version 3.5 update. According to trusted community sources, the long-speculated character Hysilens may finally join the game's growing lineup, alongside a newcomer named Cerydra.
Honkai: Star Rail Two New Characters Reportedly Incoming
The leak, attributed to a known leaker, suggests that Version 3.5 will introduce Hysilens as a Physical-type Nihility unit, featuring a design described as "Maid"-themed. She has been frequently mentioned in community discussions and datamines, with players eagerly awaiting her appearance. The second character, Cerydra, is said to be a Wind-type Harmony unit. Her appearance will reportedly follow the "Girl" model archetype, previously used for characters like Fu Xuan.
While HoYoverse has not officially confirmed these additions, Version 3.5 is expected to roll out in August. If the leak proves accurate, the update could significantly shake up the current team compositions, especially with the arrival of a new Nihility unit.
Amphoreus Arc Drives Roster Growth
The game's most recent narrative chapter, set in the world of Amphoreus, has already introduced a wide array of new characters. Figures like The Herta and Castorice have swiftly climbed the ranks in terms of meta viability, while characters such as Tribbie and Hyacine have carved out valuable roles as support units. Even niche picks like Anaxa have found a place within the game’s evolving strategy landscape.
With the story of Amphoreus reaching a climax in Version 3.3, HoYoverse appears committed to deepening the lore and variety of playable characters tied to this latest world.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 to Feature Character Buffs and Crossover Content
Ahead of Version 3.5, Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.4 update is already shaping up to be a significant patch. HoYoverse has announced performance upgrades for several existing characters, including Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu. Some of these changes include adjustments to skill scaling, such as Blade and Jingliu switching to HP-based mechanics and tweaks to Silver Wolf’s ability set.
Additionally, Version 3.4 will see the launch of a collaboration with the Fate/Stay Night franchise. Themed as the “Penaconian Holy Grail War,” this crossover will transport players back to the world of Penacony for a unique narrative experience. It also introduces new characters Phainon, Archer, and Saber as part of the event.
Further cosmetic content is also rumored to be on the way. According to leaks, popular character Firefly may receive a new skin as part of the Version 3.4 offerings.
Continued Evolution for HoYoverse’s Sci-Fi RPG
Since its release, Honkai: Star Rail has steadily built out its universe with layered storytelling and regular character additions. Each update brings not only fresh faces but also meaningful reworks and collaborations that keep the experience dynamic.
