The Steam Deck is a versatile handheld gaming device that allows you to play various games and install various applications. However, managing storage can be crucial to ensure you have enough space for your favourite games and apps. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to check the storage on your Steam Deck:
Checking Storage in Gaming Mode
- Power on your Steam Deck: Press the power button to turn on your device.
- Open the Steam Menu: Press the "Steam" button on the controller.
- Navigate to Settings: Scroll down and select the "Settings" option.
- Select Storage: Within the Settings menu, scroll down to find the "Storage" option.
- View Storage Details: You will see the internal drive and microSD card options on the right. Here, you can view how much storage space is available and how much is used.
Checking Storage in Desktop Mode
- Switch to Desktop Mode: Press the "Steam" button, select "Power," and then choose "Switch to Desktop".
- Open the Application Launcher: Click on the application launcher from the taskbar.
