How to Finish The Barrier Core Mission in Doom The Dark Ages 

Barrier Core puts you in the control of the towering war mech called the Atlan, built by Night Sentinels. You are supposed to stabilise Hebeth's Barrier Core and exterminate the invading Titans and demonic forces.

Here's a full step-by-step guide to accomplishing this explosive mission.

How to Finish The Barrier Core Mission in Doom The Dark Ages 

1) Pilot Atlan 

The Mission begins as the Slayer enters the cockpit of the Atlan. You will be taught briefly about basic systems: melee combo chains, finisher strikes, dash dodge, and combat sprint. Take some time practising; the Atlan handles like a heavy, brutal brawler, and precision matters. 

2) Defend Hebeth

Make your way out of the hangar onto the battlefield. The defences of Hebeth are under siege by Titans. Use your basic melee attacks to build your finisher meter and then execute palm slap finishers for crushing cinematic effects. Watch out for telegraphed Titan attacks and dodge accordingly. 

3) Titan Combat Techniques 

The best way to handle multiple Titans is dodge-parry-finish. Time your dodges to enter a slow-motion counter window to then retaliate on your own terms. Keep on moving since standing still means death. 

4) Unlocking and Supercharging 

The Minigun Halfway through the scene, King Novik shows up with an energy strike capable of clearing any obstruction and unlocking the Atlans' minigun. With this rotary cannon, the devastation is guaranteed upon the mobs and bosses alike. Perfect dodges now overheated the minigun for enhanced damage output and stagger chances. 

5) Stabilise the Barrier Core

 Fight down to the city's overloaded power core. Resistance has been increased with flying demons, berserker units, and corrupted Titans. Reach the core for a cutscene where the Slayer extracts the unstable energy source. 

6) The Escape Gauntlet 

The enemy continues to spike while carrying the core out of Hebeth. End them with your entire arsenal, melee combos, bursts from the minigun, and finishers. In every possible way, protect the core. Close to extraction, a shielded Titan boss ambushes from the shadows.

Dodge away from the Titan that shields its guard, punish the Titan with charged minigun fire and combo finishers, and once it falls, there follows a brutal execution rendered by the Slayer, who finally stabilises the Barrier Core.
