BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls adds Ichigo Kurosaki’s Thousand-Year Blood War form in new DLC launching June 17. Season Pass holders play early on June 10. Anime Part 4 also teased!
Bandai Namco just put out a new trailer, showing Ichigo Kurosaki in his form from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. He is going to be part of the BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game with the upcoming DLC. The short video also gives a small tease at one new form and some unknown power that was not in anime or older games. It seems different from before, but not all the details are clear yet.
This Ichigo version reflects a new fighting style. The way he fights and the animation indicate that he acquired a new skill that the fans have not experienced yet. He appears to be stronger, calmer, and the power is greater than before. It is a thrilling transformation to viewers and players, as this is the serious phase of Ichigo's development. His entry into the game might bring additional major updates, perhaps soon.
Who Gets It First and When It Launches
The DLC is released for everyone on June 17. But if you already possess a Season Pass, you get to play him one week earlier on June 10. The entire game was released earlier on March 21, 2025, and it is played on PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC via Steam. It has gained popularity, primarily because it remains true to anime characters and aesthetic.
Now with Ichigo in this new appearance, the lineup within the game expands and resembles the anime's newest arc. Those who enjoy the newer episodes will relate to this appearance as well.
Anime Part 4 and More Coming Soon
Not only does the game get an update. Anime is expanding, as well. BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity (Part 4) was also revealed. Tite Kubo mentions that this part will feature new scenes, not merely from the manga or previous shows. It would be something more, and most fans are waiting to see how much further it would go.
Further news will arrive at Anime Expo 2025, happening July 3 to 6 in Los Angeles. This event will probably give more news on anime and games. The new looks and trailers will be expected, besides maybe something surprising. BLEACH is still strong and not slowing down, both the anime and the game.
