Injustice 3 Reportedly in Development According to Reliable Leaker

  • India Today Gaming
  • May 19, 2025 (UPDATED: May 19, 2025 18:45 IST)

A trusted MultiVersus leaker may have hinted at Injustice 3 with cryptic tweets. With Mortal Kombat 1 content winding down, fans think NetherRealm’s next project is already underway.

A well-known MultiVersus tipster on X, calling themselves “MultiverSusie,” posted some odd tweets spelling “injustice” three times and then a lone “3.” Fans think that means NetherRealm is actually working on Injustice 3 now, right after they wrapped up Mortal Kombat 1 content and as MultiVersus winds down. Nobody official has said anything yet, but the leak feels too consistent to ignore.

Rumor Emergence

On May 17, MultiverSusie tweeted lines like:

“multiversus shutting down is an injustice, then doing it all again is another injustice”
“leaving me without any leaks is yet again another injustice”
Then came a solo “3.” Lots of people read that as a nod to Injustice 3, given the pattern of how they’ve teased things before.

Source Credibility

This leaker’s got history—often they’ve nailed MultiVersus and Mortal Kombat updates that later turned out real. TheGamer even called them “reliable.” Sure, they’ve missed once or twice, but when several insiders line up, you start paying attention.

Industry Context

Warner Bros. is shifting teams now that MultiVersus support ends May 30 and Mortal Kombat 1 is in post-launch mode. NetherRealm usually alternates between MK and Injustice projects, and since Injustice 2 did so well, it’d make sense for Injustice 3 to be next.

What Could Injustice 3 Offer?

People are speculating we’ll see a bigger DC roster, more customization, maybe cross-play, and a new story that resolves both endings from Injustice 2. Mechanics might get fresh tweaks too—think slicker air combos and better zoning tools.

What’s Next?

For now, it’s still just rumor. If you’re eager, keep an eye on NetherRealm’s socials and big events like Summer Game Fest for any official word. If this is real, we might hear more by late 2025. Until then, take it with a grain of salt—though imagining another DC-verse brawl is pretty exciting.
