A fresh Fortnite leak shows new Star Wars skins—Warlord Grievous, Jar Jar Binks, Palpatine, and more—arriving with the v35.10 Galactic Battle update.
Fortnite took May the 4th pretty seriously this year, giving its current season a Star Wars theme. The Galactic Battle season kicked off on May 2nd, planning to roll out new Star Wars skins every week. Some classic favorites already returned, and there’s been a few fresh faces too. Now, thanks to a leak, gamers are seeing the next batch of skins expected to drop today.
A well-known leaker, @ShiinaBR on X, shared screenshots of upcoming Star Wars skins during today’s downtime. The timing couldn’t be better, as the Galactic Battle season still has weeks left of themed goodies. These snaps really give you a sense what’s coming—and fans are buzzing about it.
New Skins Revealed
According to the leak, four new skins are on the way:
-
Warlord Grievous – He looks even more battle-worn than before, with cyborg limbs and full Separatist gear. It’s quite dramatic to see him like this.
-
Galactic Glow Palpatine – A shiny “Super Style” that apparently unlocks at level 70 of the Chapter 6 Battle Pass. It’s kind of over the top, but eye-catching.
-
Jar Jar Binks – Yes, Jar Jar is back. The leak only shows a simple render, but it’s unmistakably him. Some will cheer, others will groan.
-
Custom Mandalorian – This one looks like you can swap colors and armor pieces. It wasn’t on a Battle Pass page, just a straight-up in-game shot.
Fortnite v35.10 “Chew on This” Update
Epic Games took servers offline at 4 AM Eastern on May 16 for the v35.10 update, teasing Chewbacca with a Wookiee growl in their X post. The patch was meant to drop on May 15, but got delayed until the next day—nobody’s thrilled about delays, but here we are.
In addition to these leaked skins, the update finally unlocked the long-teased Chewbacca skin for Galactic Battle Pass holders. They also tossed in a bunch of bug fixes and some mode tweaks, though full details aren’t out yet.
Availability & Release Timing
Servers were due back up around 5:30 AM ET, at which point the new skins should be available to grab. Since Epic hasn’t posted full patch notes, players will have to jump in and see what else changed.
