LEGO Fortnite is set to enhance its multiplayer experience with split-screen functionality, exclusively available on PlayStation and Xbox. Learn more about the upcoming feature, expected release date, and a limited-edition DualSense controller.

With the long-awaited split-screen functionality, LEGO Fortnite is about to improve its multiplayer experience, but there's a price. This new feature, which was unveiled at the PlayStation State of Play event, will only be available on the PlayStation and Xbox platforms—northwest platforms, mobile, and other platforms will not be able to utilize it.

The addition of split-screen mode is expected to greatly enhance and spruse up the LEGO Fortnite experience, especially considering that the game's emphasis is on crafting and survival. Playing with a friend will get easier because of the split-screen function, which improves coordination and teamwork by letting both players see what the other is doing in real time.

Although Epic Games hasn't disclosed the precise release date, it is anticipated to launch in October 2024, coinciding with the yearly Fortnitemares event.

Furthermore, a new limited-edition DualSense controller was shown at the State of Play event. This gamepad, which will be available for pre-order starting on October 3, 2024, has designs of well-known Fortnite characters including Peely and Fishticks.

The split-screen feature is a highly anticipated upgrade for PlayStation and Xbox users, adding a new dimension of fun to the LEGO Fortnite experience, even though its exclusivity may disappoint some fans on other platforms.
