Marvel Rivals Infinity War Captain America Skin: A Hit or Miss?

Marvel Rivals' Infinity War Captain America skin is dividing fans. Some love the rugged look, while others can't unsee the awkward face. Here's why it doesn't resemble Chris Evans.

Marvel Rivals has been on fire lately, delivering fresh gameplay, awesome cosmetics, and tons of free rewards. Fans have been loving the game’s attention to detail, especially with skins like Blood Kariudo Psylocke, Malice Invisible Woman, and Unmasked Iron Fist.

But when it comes to the latest Infinity War Captain America skin… well, let’s just say opinions are all over the place.

Captain America’s Infinity War Skin – A Hit or a Miss?

The new skin is inspired by Avengers: Infinity War, featuring Cap in a darker, more rugged outfit with multiple utility belts and his signature bearded look. Some fans think it’s “goated” and “perfect”, while others… aren’t exactly sold.

What’s the Issue? The Face.

The biggest complaint? His face just looks off.

  • Some players feel like MCU skins always have weird faces, possibly because the devs can’t use the actors’ exact likeness.
  • Others joke that Cap looks like Doctor Strange, or even funnier, “Punisher’s disappointed dad.”

It’s not the first time this has happened—some previous MCU-inspired skins have also faced similar criticism.

Why Doesn’t It Look Like Chris Evans?

One user pointed out that getting an actor’s exact likeness would come with a ton of legal issues, and for a free-to-play game, that’s just not worth the trouble. As another player put it, Marvel Rivals would “tank pretty quick” if they tried to push the boundaries on this.

Final Verdict? It’s All About Perspective

At the end of the day, some players love the skin, and others just can’t unsee the awkward face. If you’re a fan of bearded Cap, this might be a must-have—but if you were hoping for a Chris Evans lookalike, you might be a little disappointed.
