NetEase Games' hero shooter Marvel Rivals has been captivating players with a steady stream of new content, including fresh cosmetics, game modes, and in-game events. However, the excitement is now extending beyond the digital realm. Marvel Comics has officially revealed a comic book inspired by the game, offering fans an exclusive narrative set within the Marvel Rivals universe.
Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1 – A One-Shot Comic
Marvel Comics has revealed Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1, a special one-shot comic that transports readers to Japan. The issue will feature special character interactions and exclusive costume designs by celebrated artist Peach Momoko. These beautiful designs won't only be featured in the comic but will also be available as in-game skins, bringing the artwork to life for gamers.
The eagerly awaited comic book is scheduled for release on June 11, 2025. The fans will have the choice of buying the physical version at comic book stores or reading the digital version using a Marvel Unlimited subscription.

The writing team for Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1 consists of Peach Momoko, Yuji Kaku, and Mitsuyasu Sakai. Alongside the story announcement, the official Marvel Rivals account has also provided a first look at Peach Momoko’s concept art, showcasing stunning costume designs for Luna Snow, The Punisher, and Hela. These skins are expected to be introduced in the game as part of a future update.
