A Marvel Rivals leak has revealed a new team-up ability, which will be added to the game. This new ability is the Human Torch and The Thing's team-up ability, which adds a new kind of aerial meets power sort of situation in the game. The RivalsLeaks post on X reveals how exactly the ability would look like, and that is what has the audience engaged.

Marvel Rivals Leaks: Human Torch and The Thing Team-Up Abilities
Well, if you know what has been going on in the Marvel Rivals universe, you know that The Fantastic Four: First Steps' release, and the game has been revealing content around it. Not only will it promote the upcoming movie, but it will also give the Fantastic Four enthusiasts in the game something to look forward to.
In the leaked trailer, Human Torch picks up The Thing and travels with him in the air and unleashes his ultimate, pushing the enemies back and damaging them in the process.
Before this team-up ability was leaked, the new skins for the characters were released, and the players appreciated the uniformity between the Four. Now, coming back to this team-up ability: Human Torch being able to lift The Thing was unthinkable, in the sense that none of the Heroes or Villains, barring Emma Frost, were able to pick him or move him from the ground. This is where the team up stands out.
Since new skins for the Fantastic Four will also make their way into the game, you will get to see a new patch update, which will deploy the skins. This is in the same timeline; when the movie releases on July 25, 2025. And if you are interested in getting your hands on the skin, you will have to update the game next week. The update is a small 1 GB patch, compared to what NetEase has been deploying for mid-match updates.
