Marvel Rivals S3 Leaks: Phoenix or Blade Incoming?

Marvel Rivals is on the cusp of a major disruption. As we approach Season 3, new leaks are stirring the community to speculate on whether our next hero will be the most powerful telekinetic, Jean Grey (Phoenix) or if we will believe Blade has finally made his way into the game? With allusion to a new map, a limited-time summer event, and even a possibly new game mode, Season 3 is said to be the largest update yet. Here's everything we know so far.

Leaked Jean Grey Ability Kit

While not yet officially confirmed, the leaks suggest that Jean Grey is poised to be the star of Season 3. Known for her immense psychic and telekinetic powers, Phoenix is rumoured to be a duelist-type hero, bringing a dynamic new layer of strategy to the battlefield.

If the leaks are accurate, Jean Grey will have two powerful forms Human and Phoenix each offering unique abilities:

Human Form:

• Psychic Explosion

• Telekinetic Explosion

• Telekinetic Transfer

• Psychokinetic Transfer

• Shattered Star Impact

Phoenix Form:

• Phoenix Shadow

• Phoenix Ray

• Phoenix Punishment

• Phoenix Wings Flying

• Phoenix Elegy

This dual-form playstyle mirrors her iconic role in Marvel lore, potentially making her one of the most versatile characters in the game to date.

New Map & Seasonal Event Incoming

Season 3 is said to include a new map, consistent with how the game refreshes maps each season. The game is also expected to have a Summer Party Event, which would most likely include some limited-time content, perhaps summer-themed skins and some challenges. 

We're also hearing buzz about a new game mode, but there are no specifics about that yet. If this ends up being true, this could be a large evolvement of gameplay just in time for the summer.

Blade Still in Play?

Although Phoenix is at the forefront of the leaks, Blade, as teased heavily in Season 2.5, should certainly not be ruled out. Fans hoping for the vampire hunter's arrival may still be in for a surprise, particularly if Marvel Rivals works its magic with another twist and gives us the dual hero releases addition or mid-season drop.

While again, none of this has been finalized, it looks like Marvel Rivals Season 3 is shaping up to be possibly the most intense update yet. Whether it's Phoenix showcasing within the heat, or Blade sneaking in silently, players are in for a real treat with the upcoming Season.
