Marvel Rivals developers address player concerns about hero movement and damage inconsistencies caused by frame rate issues.
The developers of Marvel Rivals have indeed recognized that players are concerned about the inconsistencies regarding hero movement as well as the inconsistency of damages due to frame rate drops in the game. These issues affect gameplay fluidity and combat effectiveness and will be addressed in the upcoming S1 iterations and patches.
Frame Rate Concerns and Fixes
Hero Movement Issues:
Players have reported that certain heroes face movement-related challenges due to frame rate inconsistencies. The development team confirmed these problems are being actively addressed and promised fixes in the S1 version update.
Damage Inconsistencies - Notable Impact on Wolverine:
Some heroes, particularly Wolverine, experience damage calculation problems tied to frame rates. Specifically, his "Savage Claw" attack (left-click) following "Feral Leap" (Shift) shows discrepancies during testing, especially against stationary targets. While less noticeable during dynamic gameplay, these inconsistencies detract from the intended performance balance.

Marvel Rivals team indeed recognizes these issues and seems earnestly engaged towards the endeavor of bringing satisfaction to the players. Furthermore, some problems may not get resolved instantly, but those promised updates starting from the S1 patch will probably further enhance the gaming experience with even better balance. Players will certainly feel their performance improved as the game evolves.
