Marvel Rivals Season 3 Roadmap: Phoenix, Blade, Events & More

NetEase Games has confirmed the Season 3 roadmap for Marvel Rivals that will pave the way for another exciting season in the team-based Marvel shooter. Season 3 is guaranteed to deliver a ton of new content; to improve gameplay; and to provide entertaining limited-time events that will excite the community throughout summer.

Phoenix Ascends, New Map & Battle Pass

Starting on July 11, Season 3 kicks off with the eagerly anticipated addition of Phoenix, a powerful new hero who arrives with her signature cosmic energy. Phoenix is launched with a new and visually stunning map Klyntar: Celestial Husk providing players with new dynamic combat scenarios and various tactical choices.

The Season 3 Battle Pass also launches with 10 exclusive skins and a set of other cosmetic rewards. One of the notable early events Milano Repair Logs allows players to earn the Symbiote Storm costume for a limited time by completing a series of related challenges.

Weekly Content Drops: From Swimsuits to Super Teams

NetEase is adopting a new approach to content delivery by replacing daily missions with weekly challenges which now roll over giving players more flexibility without the fear of missing out. Here’s a breakdown of what’s coming week by week:

• July 18: A fun-filled Summer Swimsuit Event begins, drawing inspiration from Marvel’s seasonal comic themes and introducing playful summer cosmetics.

• July 25: The Fantastic Four: First Steps crossover kicks off, spotlighting a duo of iconic heroes The Thing (Vanguard) and Human Torch (Duelist) in special themed events and missions.

• August 1: Two striking new skins make their debut Phoenix Demon for Magik and Phoenix Panther for Black Panther, each featuring fiery new visuals and animations.

Mid-Season 3.5 Update: Blade Joins the Fight

The Season 3.5 update, set to arrive on August 8, introduces the vampire hunter Blade as a new Duelist-class hero. Though his full kit hasn’t been revealed, early leaks show off his brutal melee attacks, suggesting a fast-paced, high-risk, high-reward combat style. Blade’s addition brings more tactical depth and diversity to the hero lineup. In a unique community-driven initiative, college students who register with a valid school email will receive 10 free trial skins and MVP animations, enhancing their in-game experience at no extra cost.

With regular content drops, a refined progression system, and fan-favourite hero additions, Marvel Rivals Season 3 is shaping up to be the game’s most ambitious and rewarding season yet.
