Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls: All Characters Revealed So Far

In recent times, we have seen a massive popularity of games themed on Marvel characters and their universe. One such recent example was Marvel Rivals from NetEase Games, which was launched on December 6, 2024, and soon became one of the top games. Imagine getting 10 million players in the first 72 hours.

It looks like Marvel itself wants to capitalize on this momentum, with yet another exciting entry set to hit the market soon. MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is all set to release in 2026 in collaboration with Arc System Works and PlayStation Studios.

Since the game was revealed just a couple of days ago, PlayStation Studios has provided a bit of detail regarding this upcoming PvP fighting game and what Marvel characters are going to feature in it.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls: All Marvel Characters Revealed So Far

Here are the Marvel heroes and villains confirmed so far:

• Captain America
• Iron Man
• Spider-Man
• Doctor Doom
• Storm
• Ms. Marvel
• Star-Lord
• Ghost Rider

According to the game’s director, Kazuto Sekine, Fighting Souls is designed a bit differently from traditional team fighting games. Normally, in these games, you have to learn how to use multiple characters well to be competitive. But in this game, you only need to master one character. 

The developers have made the controls flexible, which means you can choose between traditional fighting game combos or easier, simpler button inputs.

Arc System Works producer Takeshi Yamanaka also shared how tough it was to choose the character roster. As we already know, there is a massive roster of characters in the Marvel universe, and picking a handful of them wasn’t easy. Their goal was to pick characters that are seen as the “face” of Marvel,  the most recognizable heroes and villains, while also making sure there’s a good mix of different fighting styles and abilities.

So far, no date has been given for the release of the Marvel Token, except that it will happen somewhere in 2026. Over the next few months, we should hear more about the game, and we will let you know.
