The Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is bound to be an exhilarating esports adventure this year. Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Esports World Cup, 23 of the highest-performing teams in the world will compete together for the first time as a team this year. The prize pool this year is outstanding at $3 million, and the format of the competition has changed, creating a fantastic tournament with higher stakes, global representation, and awesome competition.
Mobile Legends MSC 2025 Tournament Format
MSC 2025 is structured into three key phases, gradually narrowing the field to crown the new world champion.
-
Wildcard Stage (July 10–13): Eight teams will be randomly placed into two groups of four each. Each group plays a best-of-three, double-elimination format. The top two teams in the group will be placed into the Wildcard Playoffs - a best-of-three, four-team single-elimination bracket. The winning team will earn a spot in the Group Stage.
-
Group Stage (Starts July 23): The Group Stage will consist of 16 teams, which include the Wildcard winner. The teams are drawn into two groups of eight, with the stipulation that no two teams from the same region can be in the same group. Matches are best-of-three, double-elimination. The top four teams from the group will go on to the Knockout Stage.
