Netmarble's Next Big Franchise: Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Closed Beta Launch

Netmable after the successful continuing run last year with the release of Solo Leveling: Arise, they are back with another new franchise and an innovative game this new year.

The franchise is Game of Thrones, and the game is Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. The game will be featuring characters from the franchise and the player will be able to interact with them. And the developers are running a registration for the closed beta release of the game. And here are the details regarding it.

 

Closed Beta Details

The registrations for the closed beta test for the game are now open for the time period of 7th January 2025 to 12th January 2025. After the closing of registrations people with access to the closed test version will be able to play the game from 16th january 2025 to 22nd january 2025. And this test is a regional closed beta test but interested people can contact the developers to get a chance to participate in it.

Gameplay Details

The visually stunning trailer revealed yesterday featured and open world 3rd person gameplay with backdrops featuring fields outside kingslanding, bustling streets inside the walls and the royal gardens inside the castle. While featuring parkour, puzzle solving quests and horse back riding with dynamic combat system and other exciting gameplay elements. 

At present the story and setting of the game is quite unclear, its just that its is set during season 4 of the show but players are hoping post the completion of the beta test they could get a clarity for it.

Expectations of the Game

With the success of Solo Leveling Arise the expectation on the Kingsroad is high. And the availability of the game on both mobile and pc with aaa quality graphics and gameplay mechanics. With a franchise as successful and famous as Game of Thrones, there are many stories for the developers to explore and make use of for the longevity of the game. 

Right now one complaint by fans regarding Solo Leveling Arise is the gap between the content is very long. That might not be the drawback in this case with the huge lore, characters, places and stories for them to make use of in the game and for the post release content for players.
