Nintendo rolls out Clubhouse Games Update 2.0.1 with gameplay improvements and updated Guest Pass, while keeping GameShare and language support intact.
It was July 8, 2025, that Nintendo released the fresh update 2.0.1 for Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics. The update is being rolled out for Switch and also for Switch 2. The Guest Pass edition also gets its update (version 2.0.1d). Below the patch notes, which are not very lengthy, only the following was noted: "Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience."
Nobody has any idea what exactly the issues are. No mention of game-specific patches, however one would hope some things are smoother now. You might notice less freezing or menu adjustments, but nothing is said by Nintendo. They are always mum on patch notes, anyway.
Recently, the 2.0.0 update also came with the Korean language and the GameShare feature. That enables four players of games both local or onlin to play and not necessarily everyone needs the full game. The feature remains functional, with no removals discovered by the majority.
The Guest Pass has also been revamped, so multiplayer will be available. It's convenient for friends or families that do not have the title, and Nintendo is still supporting that, so that's a good thing on their part.
There was no new language, no new game involved. But all the old work remains. That's why, in itself, it can be considered a good thing even when the update is small.
Community Feedback Remains the Same
As Before, But Also Some New Ones Arrive There are still some players griping on Nintendo and Reddit forums. It is disappointing that the game doesn't support the Pro Controller for local two-player co-op and is therefore an unfun game, as per one player. He also stated that the Joy-Con is not big enough for him and is not comfortable to hold for long periods.
Some have said that regarding the graphics; on handheld, it is not as sharp. Maybe Nintendo is working on something in the backburner, but we have not heard anything yet. Some said maybe load time was quicker, but nobody tested it officially.
Most gamers enjoy the game, but they anticipate more changes that still haven't arrived yet. We do not know if Nintendo will do anything else for this title.
Version 2.0.1 did some, but it did not indicate what they were. Korean and GameShare remain in place, nothing was changed there.
People still crave controller support, improved handheld graphics,. So with this update then, game can be enhanced but quietly. No huge new things, but not removals either. That is something that most people will be comfortable with, but other people still wanting more.
