Learn how to download and install Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.110.20 Beta and Preview on PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS. Step-by-step instructions included.
Minecraft Bedrock Edition continues to be released in preview and beta versions, in which the players are allowed to use the features even before they can distribute them to all users. The last release was 1.21.110.20 beta and preview version, and it includes some nice features, such as Copper Golem, new functions on block of shelves, and some fixes on bugs. Looking to see what is new in the next show in Minecraft, or are you just interested in helping by the way of reporting any issues that you may come across? Then the beta download is worth paying for.
The step-by-step instructions that you are going to follow will help you download the beta version on your device. It does not matter whether you are on the PC or the Xbox, the Android or even the iOS; it all covers it.
For Windows 10/11 (PC)
Using Minecraft Launcher:
- First, open the Minecraft Launcher.
- Choose “Minecraft for Windows.”
- There’ll be a little arrow next to the Play button; click it.
- Pick “Latest Preview” from the list and hit Play. That’s it.
Using Microsoft Store:
- Open the Microsoft Store app.
- Type and search “Minecraft Preview.”
- If you already got the game, just click Install or maybe Update if it shows up.
For Xbox One and Series X|S
- Head over to the Microsoft Store on your Xbox.
- Look for “Minecraft Preview” in the search bar.
- Select it and press Install.
- Just a note, you’ll need to already own the game or have Game Pass.
For Android Phones
- Open the Play Store on your device.
- Go to the page for Minecraft.
- Scroll a bit and there’ll be a "Join Beta" button. Tap it.
- Wait a bit, then update Minecraft to get the beta.
For iOS Devices (iPhone and iPad)
- First thing, download the TestFlight app from the App Store.
- Use the official link for Minecraft Preview (only if it’s available in your country, though).
- Tap Accept, and then Install when prompted.
For PlayStation 4 and 5
Unfortunately, PlayStation doesn’t officially support the beta or preview builds. Occasionally, though, there might be limited preview access inside the game. You can check the main menu or in-game news if something like that shows up.
Important Tips
- Before trying the beta, you should back up your game worlds. Sometimes, once a world is opened in beta, it won’t work properly on the normal version anymore.
- Multiplayer will only work with others who are on the same beta build as you.
- If you want to leave the beta, you can uninstall it and reinstall the regular game. Or exit the program through your store settings
So, the 1.21.110.20 beta and preview builds it is a rather cool way to fiddle with the upcoming stuff. It is the version that sets you off; whether you screw around with Copper Golems or implement shelves and redstone optimizations, you are ahead of the game. All you have to do is follow the instructions depending on the device you are using and you are in. Of course, it is not the final copy, but it can make a good pretest of how the full version will work.
