Once Human Mobile Release Date Announced, Everything You Need To Know

Starry Studios’ popular open-world survival shooter, Once Human, is officially making its way to mobile devices on April 23. Originally launched in July 2024 for PC, the game quickly gained traction among players and continues to hold a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam. With its arrival on Android and iOS, fans will soon have the opportunity to explore the post-apocalyptic world of Once Human on the go.

A Dangerous World AwaitsSet in the aftermath of an event called Starfall, Once Human immerses players in the desolate landscape of Nalcott, an island overrun by an alien substance known as Stardust. This mysterious material has led to dangerous mutations across plant, animal, and human life, creating treacherous conditions for survivors. Players take on the role of Metas individuals granted extraordinary abilities through scientific experimentation who must navigate the ruins while confronting hostile threats, including a shadowy corporation at the center of the chaos.

Once Human's next mobile release will include cross-platform play, enabling mobile and PC players to play together. It's not certain if cross-save will come at launch, though.
Starry Studios has indeed been very responsive to player feedback and releasing frequent updates, which has fueled rumors that a console version of the game may be in the cards someday.

Upcoming Content and CelebrationsTo mark the mobile debut, Starry Studios has opened pre-registration and announced a giveaway event featuring prizes such as Steam gift cards, Apple AirPods, and an iPhone 16. Additionally, the developers have outlined their content roadmap for the coming months. In May and June, two new scenarios Code: Broken and Code: Purification will be available for early access, alongside enhancements to Way of Winter. Between July and September, the full versions of these scenarios will roll out, along with Code: Deviation. Players can also expect new seasons for the game's Visional Wheels in the near future.

Once Human is expanding, and its move to mobile is a big step. This will let more players enjoy its survival and base-building gameplay across different platforms.
